Tour Description

Take the most awesome bike tour in La Jolla. The tour starts on top of Mt. Soledad where we will survey the panorama of San Diego and the coastline from Mexico up to Carlsbad. Mt. Soledad is the highest coastal mountain top in San Diego and the summit features a large cross and war memorial which we will tell you all about. Next, we begin a relaxing and fun descent down the mountain and through La Jolla, along the coastline.

In La Jolla, we will be winding through gorgeous multimillion dollar homes right on the water’s edge all the way to the local beach known as Wind 'n Sea. This beach is actually a top spot for locals to chill on the beach and surfers to ride the waves. We will stop here for a quick moment to relax and to watch the surfers at this world class break. From here, we head along the coastline to the Children’s Pool where about 100 seals lay out on the sand and sleep. At this stop we take a brief break here to chill out and enjoy mother nature. To finish off this bike tour, we cruise to The La Jolla Cove and Ecological Preserve to check out one of the most amazing spots in La Jolla.

The Plunge is a bike tour appropriate for beginners, moderates, and Tour de France riders too! This tour features dramatic and stunning ocean views throughout. This package includes bike rental and helmets with complimentary refreshments and snacks. We will also provide a ride back up to Mt. Soledad so you can get back up to your car and return to the cove to pick the rest of your party.
