Tandem Skydiving is the most popular first jump as it requires a minimal amount of training (less than an hour), while maintaining a high degree of safety. You are attached to the front of your instructor's harness for the entire skydive and parachute ride. Your jump will include approximately 70 seconds of freefall, followed by a canopy ride that lasts anywhere from 7 to 9 minutes. You will be encouraged to steer the parachute.
